I’m Reggie Osborne II. I pastor First Baptist Church of New Paris, Ohio — the same congregation I’ve served for fifteen years in the town where I grew up. I preach on Sundays, recover on Mondays, and try my best every day to serve Jesus.
I coach basketball. I’ve coached kids as little as kindergarten. I’ve coached seniors finishing up their high school career. Most of the time seniors are more mature than the kindergarteners. Most of the time…
Before I was a full-time pastor, I spent years in the corporate world, leading supply-chain and retail projects — warehouse conversions, distribution center footprints, sourcing product overseas and managing imports. On the sales side, I managed a national retail brand and got to travel the nation with corporate partners. Those 20 years of my life show up an awful lot in my writing and preaching, for better or worse, I suppose.
I write and speak about church, family, doctrine, and coaching. My work has appeared in Desiring God, For Every Mom, and FaithIt. Ten years ago I took a break from writing and publishing online. I’m returning a bit older and, hopefully, a bit wiser.
My wife, Allison, and I have five children who we couldn’t be prouder of – they end up featuring a lot in my writing and speaking.
Thanks for reading. I hope something here helps you follow Jesus a little more faithfully, love your family a little more deliberately, and do your work a little more honestly.
